attachment has just officially started.

working in an events company is really different from what i did in the past.
although its just a small company, but im thankful for that cos it would also mean less politics which makes the entire working environment a better one. :)

i just hope everything would be good like this for the next 5 months, and am really looking forward to the taipei incentive travel with this company in december. although its gonna be 7 days of work, but am anticipating to all the hands on work that i'd be exposed to during this trip.
prep work are starting to pick up now, and i hope this would keep me busy busy busy.
at least, i wouldnt have to feel that empty after work.

Awards and Appreciation Night 2007

hectic

was rushing the final submission for pr with qiaolin in school since morning, and we had to climb up to SIM to print our masina and pr final report.

the printing system at SIM library is so much faster, and cheaper too!
just 70cents for a full colour A4 page with good quality and service.
at canteen 2 co-op, you have to pay a dollar for a full colour A4 page, and you need to wait forever for the aunty to process your request!
and as for black and white printing, SIM charges 5 cents per page and np charge you 20cents for the first page and 10cent per page thereafter.
i know its a bit too late to find out about this, but i really felt cheated for the past 2 and 1/2 years in np.

tvc and radio recording at esplanade in the evening, and bbq at sdba thereafter.
its gonna be an eventful week with free food everywhere! *grins*

FAIRY GODMOTHER.

please edit my life to a fairy tale story with a happily ever after ending.
please cut and dump all my project woes away, cos im really not enjoying it at all.
i hate staying back at atrium to do my projects.
i hate seeing the people playing games in atrium instead of doing any school-related work.
i hate being a free labour for all the clients for my electives this semester.
i hate being under such scorching sun anywhere else except at the beach.
i want more sleep.
i want to graduate badly.
i want back my life.

pain.

i swear this toothache is really getting on my nerves!
my wisdom tooth is hindering the rest of my babies in my mouth, and this is not good :(
been popping panadols since this evening and i guess its time to visit a dentist soon.
and yes, i have phoebia sitting on the dentist chair.
gentle dentist recommendations, anyone?

exam woes.

nothing seems to be able to get into my brain now.
just cant help it, but i've been watching all the hk dvds since noon, otherwise, dozing off.

i miss the sun badly.
i want to bake myself under the hot sun by the beach.

i cant wait for my papers to end in less than 48hours time.

i want back my freedom please!

...and there's still all the spring cleaning chores to do at home.
everywhere's my mess, and i guess i'd be having a big headache clearing them.

ROME (Reuters) - Call it the eternal embrace.

Archaeologists in Italy have discovered a couple buried 5,000 to 6,000 years ago, hugging each other.

"It's an extraordinary case," said Elena Menotti, who led the team on their dig near the northern city of Mantova.

"There has not been a double burial found in the Neolithic period, much less two people hugging -- and they really are hugging."

Menotti said she believed the two, almost certainly a man and a woman although that needs to be confirmed, died young because their teeth were mostly intact and not worn down.

"I must say that when we discovered it, we all became very excited. I've been doing this job for 25 years. I've done digs at Pompeii, all the famous sites," she told Reuters.

"But I've never been so moved because this is the discovery of something special."

A laboratory will now try to determine the couple's age at the time of death and how long they had been buried.

just came back from my run jog.. been so long since i really exercised.
went bowling and arcade bashing again with ym, ql, winnie & benjamin after handing up our magazine.
its country mana for lunch, and thanks to clarence for our free scoop of ice cream :D

im once again, addicted to bowling.
i want, and i must master it well.
but hey! i bowled so many times and i could just merely hit 100.
i really need to improve!

im craving for my fondue right now.
hopefully im able to convince the girls to go fondue-ing together tomorrow when we meet up.
*excited*

my new companion - the sims 2.
i know im a bit out of trend, but HEHE its fun.

a zombie for a week

after 18 hours of sleep,
im finally back ALIVE, surprisingly.

i think i have slept for less than 10 hours for the past one week.

• tuesday - whole night up rushing our webde final project. 1 hour of sleep.
  
• wednesday - stayed over at winnie's, together with our editor, subeditor, photographer and another fellow designers of mine to rush the design work for our magazine. 15min of nap on the roller coaster.
  
• thursday- managed to catch a couple of hours of beauty sleep and then back to mag design. 3 hours of sleep.
  
• friday - printed our 1st draft of our magazine. did proof reading from burger king, 11pm chased out and headed to starbucks, chased out again. and finally.. settled at the stairway of an MRT exit, how pathetic. just ql and me, sitting there checking for errors for our draft. back home, doing all the ammendments to our magazines again. 0 hours of sleep.
  
• saturday - met ql at bras basah at 8.30am and did all the final touch up. and at 2.00pm, taste (our mag!) is finally printed and well. (: arcade bashing and 2 games of bowling at marina with ym and ql. home, collapsed. missed an appointment with my fellow sprinters and im really sorry. =/

and that sum up to 4 hours and 15 mins of sleep for the 5 days. and im still on bed typing this entry now :D

oh yea, sorry to those who've smsed or called me for the past few days.
i'd scroll down my inbox to reply you guys soon!

the sun looks really good for a baking session at sentosa.
..and i missed a beaching outing with the sprinters..
i wish im at surf and sweat with him now too :(
i wonder if his team is doing good for their beach soccer.. hmmm..

my sem 2.2 is left with only my commissues and pr exam coming up in a weeks' time.
YAY!
somehow, i thought mugging for exams sound more interesting than projects.

i want a new book to read, but i don't want to buy. anyone?


if only everyday is like that day.

the last leg of 2.2

FINALLY, everything is towards the end.
in another one week or so, i should have completed all the projects on hand..
..followed by another 2 papers on 12th and 13th feb.

pretty much looking forward to the end of the semester and the long awaited chinese new year!
i dont know why, but its really tiring this semester.
i seriously need a good break after everything.

marathon this sunday,
im puzzled why i decided to take part when i know i dont have the time to commit for trainings etc.
the same place, same thing again.
i dont know how many people can understand how i feel towards it,
but i must try to finish everything.


for my dearest buddy,
its gonna be 29k for you.. and i know for sure, you will pull through.
i'd be there rowing with you, so gambette!

to the team,
im sorry for not training as hard as you guys are all these while. for some,
its gonna be the last or first marathon that you guys are taking part,
just remember, reap what you've sowed.
you'll see your efforts paying off this time round during nkm.
im sure you guys would do well!

finally after a long time, we met up for our pre-christmas dinner & stayover!

dined at new york new york, headed to villa bali to chill & elva's place to stay.
these darling angels of mine have started my christmas break with a blast! (:
the usual bitching sessions of ours have lasted for hours, and i love it.

melted bars of chocolate, for the next day's photoshoot of our magazine's cover.
thankfully with the girls & darling's help, everything went well.
shall we make our very own fondue the next meet up..? :P
