2 days away from NEW YEAR!

its a good day.
didnt do much though..
but its just a good good day.
crap.went to holland to mug with lex & dennis for the afternoon.
ok, i read up quite a lot.
but we talked even more.
im getting talkative.
grins.
rush off to meet up with goh & the rest thereafter @ ps swensens.
its so embarassing!!
we called for a table of 15 and in the end only half turned up and the other half couldnt make it.
it was only me, goh, cher, jo, tim, yuzhuang, tiangti & gabriel.
had a lil'catch up session.
its only new year that we could sit around like that and joke.
i think everyone's more or less the same.
just that i feel a lil'distance between us.
probably its because we haven't been seeing each other for quite some time.
but i guess we're closer in the sense that we no longer chat as a teacher-student, coach-student, senior-junior relationship anymore.
we're having this mini farewell gathering cos jo signed on as navy officer...
and will be leaving for her course in the early jan..
it sounds so tough for me.
really admire her for her determination.
its probably something that i'll never be able to do for my entire life!

the food, according to my sisters wasn't really fantastic and nice.
the drinks were pretty diluted.
and things are really expensive there.
the ambience is pretty relaxing there.
i guess thats the only thing to compliment. hah

its already the last week of december.
here's my list of new year resolutions:
1) to be PUNCTUAL for lectures and tutorials.
(heh, we shall see!)
2) no more frequent cab rides,
maximum thrice per week!
3) my bank account shall be full of money!
4) to be able to do well in my subsequent semesters.
5) to train hard for upcoming competitions!
6) diet diet diet! i need to slim down.
7) probably a time for me to get fairer too!
8) i want to be smarter than jonathan soh choon beng!!!
9) to be happy, always
10) all my wishes to come true!
im greedy!
oh yes,
i got to drive yesterday!
met up with matt, joe, lydia & "idontknowwhatshisname" after supper with eug.
its my first time that i got to drive for sucha long time and with 4 passengers onboard.
wheee~ driving is fun!
but its kinda tiring.
so many things to take note of.
matt taught me the 3 point turn, but i just cant remember.
i think canoe is a much user-friendly transport. heh.

gotta go study a little before going out with my cousins.

its an eventful christmas weekend :)a simple xmas eve dinner with sean, frana and eli.
it was a last minute decision though.
its been months, that i last met them!
crazy group of friends.
is frana gonna organise a cocktail partyy soon?
miss you guys a lot!

next on the list -> my xmas countdown with the usual countdown khakis - my PRIMARY school friends!!!
it was back then when we were primary 6 that we came out with an agreement that we'd all meet out on every christmas eve for countdown.
and its already been 6 years that we've been meeting on this very special day!
we've tried countdown in cineleisure lift, going up and down for minutes waiting for the clock to strike 12.
we did our countdown in esplanade last year with a horrible time lag there!
every year we'd be doing different things, and this year aint any exception!
we were at -
the chocolate bar-, a pub over at boat quay this year.
rebecca and i was early there to book seats.
the place is good,
the underground feeling.we waited till 1130 before the rest came.
this the 2005 christmas countdown...
we have JIAYING, rebecca, minghui, weihao, niven and jonathan =D
its a yearly affair!
we dont get to meet up or see each other on any other days 365 days round the year.
: ) everything was pretty fun.
niven won over the pool table with one cue!
..and i slipped and fell just next to the pool table.
thanks to clemence! i fell just because of your phonecall!!
now ive got a big bruise at my elbow :(
we missed our friendship toast this year..
so here i'll write them out here instead:
rebecca, my full time playmate then. we used to shop, play and craze around.everyday, we'd go home together in my grandpa's car.and my grandpa would always call her "rumah tinggi" yah..?lolnever fails to worry and help me whenever im down with a problem.just like a big sister to me, watching over me.thanks babe. =)im glad our friendship is still going strong even till now..i still have that elmo & cookie monsters right beside my bed.its just like you and me. minghui, my fierce tutor!among the 3 of us, she's the smartest.studies..? never a problem for her!she helped me a lot in my studies back then.forcing me to write essays, memorise idioms etc.every afternoon she'd drag me to her house to revise and study.thanks babe, i couldnt have passed without you.though we seldom chat nowadays, but you girls seems to still know me well.thanks for the wonderful friendship!niven, my 27 year old husband!he promised years back that if we both aint married by 27, he'd take me.yay. we werent that close back then until recent.he's really a nice guy to chat with and to talk our hearts out.im really glad to have him as a friend, at least someone who never fails to entertain me whenever im bored or tired.that fat, short bespectacled chair person of mine in sec 1.haha. thanks ahh!weihao, my 28 year old husband!oh yes, he queued after niven this year agreeing that if by 28 im still single, he'd take me.he's an exception in every year's gathering.unlike the rest, he aint from our primary school!he was minghui's net friend whom then joined us for gatherings subsequently.a very nice guy whom i used to call him "ah bu" which means mother in dialect.i remember him piggy back-ing me in chalet years back when i was tired.he's still that fair, better get tanned before the next christmas arrives!thanks dude, for everything. :)jonathan, the pig!
he's still as cute as before.i bet anyone would love to pinch his cheeks whenever you see him.he's another guy friend here who never fails to cheer me up whenever im done back then.he'd think of not-so-funny jokes to make me laugh.just like a lil'boy in the group.but now he've changed so much! got a loving gf too ayee.. really glad to see that you're doing well now boy..blessings to you!

wedding dinner was good.
not to mention about the food which aint that fantastic,

we dont socialise often with our parternal relatives.
and yesterday, was the day where i got to realise how big our family actually are!
