had 1/2 day work today.
boss was on da house for today's lunch @ cafe.
blah blah blah..
and im gonna be having something different this year for countdown!
suppose to be a long night party at our very own bar by the falls..
but it has turned out 2 be a charity party instead.
so far, we've already hit our target for our charity drive for those unfortunates..
wells.. ashyl has been telling me... it takes the whole world to make this possible.
and i believe its true, its not like the collapse of our nicole highway which takes less than a year to recover..
it might take 10 years, 20 years or even more to make everything back to normal again..
so, spread the words!

Tsunami, this name has strucked millions and millions of people with terror.
Death tolls has been sprinting up till 44,000 and on going.
The world's strongest earthquake in 40 years unleashed flash floods and giant tidal waves across a huge swathe of South and South-East Asia.
It has swept away entire villages, beach resorts, home and family members of many in just a matter of few minutes.
While we're enjoying the luxury here with our loved ones, those victims are still struggling so hard to live on.
there seems to be so much to ponder about.
It aint something that can be fully prevented but i suppose we still can do something to help those in need.

monday blues.
had an early function this morning.
feeling so lethargic and tired!
how i wish im wif da rest of da girls now...
wells.. had a great night out yesterday wif pohgek.
did some shopping at marina.
xinmei was working.. agnes & yy was tied down by sth..
leaving me and pohgek alone.
walked along esplanade and out of nowhere we boarded this river boat tour..
hah. 45mins of tour along singapore river was indeed cool.
da previous time i did this was like.. wen i was still in lower primary?
da breeze was great as well as da scenery.
it was da most beautiful view of singapore i suppose.
not like the hectic life in shenton way..
nor the kiasu look of singaporean when there's sales at orchard..
but the really quiet and soothing kinda feeling instead.
-two thumbs up-
had a real long chat wif em..
so much memories to think back and admire.
and that was our 4 hours stay at esplanade.

everything was great.
spent my lovely xmas eve with my primary school pals.
there seems to be so much to talk about and catch up bout our recent happenings.
dined over at n.y.d.c...
thou there were only the 5 of us - me,becca,minghui,weihao&niven
but everything was still that fun.
had our memorable friendship toast over there..
and came to realise how much we are worth in each other's mind.
took a ride down town after dinner..
it was "people mountain people sea" over there.
people spraying those foam snow all over..
it was a lil'annoying thou.
stayed there for just a short while and headed towards esplanade.
it was one of those hot spots for countdown too.
had ours there last year.
as i said, we werent dat keen over countdown anymore.
we even forgotten bout da time and it was partly cos of da time lag over there .
met up wif chinyong..
blah blah blah..
and there we are at becky's place again.
started off sitting there drinking the black label johnny walker.
it was my 1st time trying da black one..
and it taste perfectly smooth n well with green tea =)
ivan was there 2 join us after his movie with his.. uhh.. friends?..
followed by jason who brought along pratas!
entertained ourselves till da next morning with pokers n number games.
nobody was drunk thou.
just that we patronised da toilets upteen times dat night.
it was indeed a great night to spend with them.
come again next year.
met sean n co da next morning for breakfast.
and thereafter my 4 hrs of sleep.
i was as good as a corpse for that 4 hours dat i wasnt aware of da time 2 meet da girls!
hah. had dinner..walked ard and sat at coffee bean for a talk.
a long talk indeed.
so much to tell them!
and back home,
hk shows again.
thats my christmas.
...and today..
another worth celebrating occasion - pohgek's birthday.
happy sweet 16!

24th of December.
Christmas Eve.
Gonna be meeting up with my primary school pals for countdown later..
not really excited like da past over the countdown..
but the reunion with my old friends.
gonna be dinning at n.y.d.c later in the evening..
hopefully it wun be dat crowded.
gees.
nothing much to do at work today.
gonna be having company's christmas bash in an hr's time.
and im gonna knock off at 2!

its gonna be another christmas again.
..and it marks the ending of 2004.
its eve tomorrow.
wonder hows everything gonna be like.
are we gonna have our steamboat at becky's place or are we gonna hang out somewhere like the past years?
hehs. manage 2 contact more pri skool pals and hopefully they can join in this year!

a short flashback on da past few days.
lets start on with monday.
dat malaysia trip.
hahs. miss chilling out with da team so much.
unfortunately.. not all were there..
all i can remember is dat we walk walk walk
and eat eat eat.
not much of shopping thou.
went to this beach at mid noon and had a 'walkathon' there.
nice place indeed.
drinking chilled coconut at the beach with the scorching sun shining on ya is heavenly.
the central area of the beach where all the food stalls were at is very much alike to our esplanade here in singapore.
its gonna be really nice after the development work there.
took my first malaysia public bus there too.
indeed a fruitful trip.
its so different from my typical malaysia trip where we'd be stuck there at the shopping centre for the whole time.
a walk at the beach aint a bad thing thou.
met up with jessica n otrysia.
its been 5 years since i last saw otrysia.
and a couple of days for jessica. =)
wells. they just look da same!
the feeling of warmth back to my old pals.
its really sweet of them 2 make their wayy down to my workplace.
really miss them alot.
the rest of the week was like shop-athon.
town is getting crowded as christmas draws nearer..
everybody seems to be doing thier last minute shopping.
hahs. a season for love & sharing.
it might not just be all about presents.
and yea.. hows my 6 girlfriends doing out there?
i demand for a gathering on christmas day itself! =x

life has changed.
the start of the next phase of my life is so different.
begun to realise and see the reality in life.
miss my girls so much!
buddy's back to indo, shimin leavin for korea, yy busy at band, agnes..energy? n pohgek with her carefree life..
soon.. most of them will be heading to indo to hunt for that bear.
once again.. just a gentle reminder.. pressies pls! =)
do meet out for lunch or dinner before you guys leave yahs?
has been combing the whole orchard for christmas gifts for my lil'cousy n frens for the past few days.
and bumped into corrine n jess there yesterday.
really misses those days where we slacked around!
shall see if we're meeting up on tue/wed..

been so busy lately that i hardly got the time to blog in.
life has been rather different for me.
been working and taking care of my grandma.
practically got no time for leisure lately.
thanks joan, sean etc for dropping by the hospital to visit my grandma.
her condition has been the same each day and im still hoping for her speedy recovery.
really glad to see u guys there. =)
and yea..
work has been great.
good boss. thou a workaholic..
so has been treating me very well.
thou tiring.. but still, an interesting job.
buddy has just flown off to hk for hols this morning and thereafter will be back to indo till 9th Jan..
missing her every single bit. :(
da rest of da girls might be flying over to indo for a wk to join her end of this month.
wont be able to join em cos of my work n duty to fulfil at home.
anyways..agnes haf promised pressies for me eh? =)
im waiting.

Back from my 3D2N chalet at downtown east.
had lotssa fun there wif my pals there.
Been sucha long time since i made my way down to DTE..
eversince.. august?
everything seems to have changed yahs?
da ambience there is much better than before i suppose.
thinking back, i suddenly thought that i've grown up!
not into adulthood tho.. but more of da later stage of what a teenager should be?
hahs.
how i wish im still that young, innocent and naive lil'girl...
trouble-less.
coming up next will be the start of my work this coming monday.
similarly, i'll be working at The Pines Club like last year..
but this time round, another challenging job!
aunt got me a position in the Banquet Sales department as the assistant co-ordinator.
gonna be learning alot this time round.
meeting up with new colleagues as well as my ex-colleagues.
im kinda excited over it..
but at the same time.. gonna bid goodbye to my slack-and-do-nothing weekdays..
looking forward for gatherings especially the chalet coming up in January. =)
time for a nap.
