best time to shop? weekday before or after lunch break!
imagine shopping during sale period without having to fear about the terrible crowd..
sis was on her birthday leave yesterday, and both of us have successful combed the whole suntec and part of orchard with shopping bags!
it was a terrible damage, but im so satisfied. : ) : )
i like my life now.
i feel so contented.
but to maintain this, ive to have numbers jumping in my bank account.
im feeling so poor now.
still patiently waiting for my payday.
hmmm.....
anyway,
ive just decided to join the legs and paddles with goh.
i think i gotta start training for that already.
been eating so much till my stomach is already on the verge of bulging out, how unglam!
i need to keep fit!
its afterall my dream to compete with goh, so i must be in my tip top condition for that race..
left on the list is cher and jiahui.
but both just seemed so impossible.
i hope i can just race with them and fulfill my dream before i stop canoeing.

settled my thoughts.
i guess everything happens for a reason.
be it good or bad, i'll just have to accept the fact.
i did not exactly lose everything,
at least now i know that i've got great sisters, buddy, team and friends.
its always when shit things happen that you can clearly see who are the true souls around you..
im glad i have you guys, really.
to be there giving me support and words of encouragement : )

do you know that ngee ann kayaking team have got great potential in cheerleading?
whenever i row past the launching point, i'd be able to hear loud cheers coming from my fellow team mates who were up there supporting.

whenever i hear about njc in the past, all i could think of is how arrogant and proud they were.
but today, i respect them.
i think they really do deserve what they are today.
the girl whom i competed with during the race actually told me to carry on the battle with her when she paddled past me.
if its the past, i'd probably expect her to mock at me for not completing the race.
after everything, she came forward to thank and compliment me for fighting the battle.
i was taken aback by all these, and i truely thank her for it.
did i stereotype njc canoeists in the past?anyway, its holiday.
gonna start work back at the pines on thu/mon onwards.
back to banquet sales.
i kinda miss that place.
wonder how different it is now after a year.

completely useless.
felt like a joke once again.
i wish i had finished that 28km.
at least i would know that i did finish the marathon.
i was 3rd until my body broke down.
i don't blame the weather nor my body, but myself.
if i had pushed myself a lil'harder to continue the other half of the race...
i have never felt so horrible after a race before.
being sent back to the shore by a speedboat?
thats the last thing that would ever cross my mind during any competition.
congrats junsheng, weiqiang and dennis for clinching a medal back this time round.
you guys deserve it.
and to the rest,
just remember..
at least you have completed the race.

how does it feel like to be forced to blindfold yourself and plug in loud music on a cab when you got no clue of where we'll be bringing you to?
it was a hilarious time watching you covering yourself with my jacket while your cousins and i were thinking how stupid and obedient you can get sometimes.. haha!

do you know that there're many many pairs of eyes staring at you while you're walking over from palawan beach? i guess most of them found you "funny" and weird! ;P
to think that you trust us so much. thank god, you didnt ill-treat us last time, otherwise i would have taken this opportunity to sell you off somewhere ulu-ulu. now you can see who are the people who held your hands and brought you all the way over to the bridge and who is that "thin hand" guy that you're describing? lol.
thanks to the guys who bought the cake and waited for us up there patiently :Phow funny things are when you took out your blindfold, and still puzzled where you were at.its sentosa! that long bridge walk and climbing up the flights of stairs, you thought you were at east coast light house?!?!heh, anyway it was a great time chilling up there.everything turned out to be much better as planned.a million thanks, to those who came and helped out. oh well, it was indeed a great and memorable night out.;)

today is the last day where im gonna see all my classmates in school together.
social psychology assessed tutorial is finally over.
thank god.rushed through everything this afternoon when we met up in school.
and yeaps, no more danny boey lectures on monday mornings and long tutorials on every thursdays.
hurray!!
now im just left with my completion of our radio capsule assignment tomorrow.
i think i'd miss mcmt101/t106 badly.
ain't gonna be in the same class anymore.
i wonder hows life gonna be like next semester.
i can't bear to part with them!!!

im friggin'terrified by the thought of the marathon coming up this sunday.
28k, how on earth am i gonna ever complete that with my current physical condition?
i know i haven't been training really hard for this competition.
but i dont wish to bring back disappointment to the team again.
i dont aim for a medal.
all i ask for is to be able to finish the race with pride and knowing that i've tried my best.
did my radio assignment with yingmin this morning.
its still incomplete, only done with recording of my voice.
got lectured by yingmin so many times for my reading!!
stupid.
lucky you bought me hotcakes meal in the morning for breakfast, i forgive u. =X
now im left with 1/2 of my radio assignment and socpsy presentation tomorrow!

Police hunt gunman after businessman shot dead in SerangoonBy Rita Zahara, Channel NewsAsia
SINGAPORE : Police are sparing no efforts in their hunt for a gunman, suspected of killing 41-year-old businessman Lim Hock Soon at his Serangoon Avenue 4 flat on Wednesday.
An islandwide search is now on for the gunman who is still at large.
The suspect is a 1.7 metre tall Chinese man in his late 30s to 40s.
He was last seen wearing an all-black outfit - round-neck T-shirt, pants, shoes and cap - and appeared blind in the right eye.
The public is advised to call the police hotline at 999 if they spot anyone fitting this description.
Police also warn the public not to approach the suspect as he may be armed.
Shocked coupled with anxiety, residents of Serangoon Avenue 4 say their quiet neighbourhood of eight blocks of flats have seen one blow after another.
In the last two months, there have been two reports of snatch thefts and now the murder of a fellow neighbour.
"As a neighbour we just talk, simple word, nothing much, we don't know much about inside." "In the morning, I heard five, six, or seven loud bangs. I did not know they were gunshots until the police arrived later."
"Early in the morning, I heard a loud bang like gunshots, I thought it was nothing, just someone quarrelling, it was just a while so I continued sleeping - that's all."
After nearly 10 hours, curious onlookers finally saw Police emerging with sealed bags and suitcases - believed to be evidence. There was also a large item that looked like a chair wrapped in paper.
Police left the scene at 6.30pm - some 12 hours after the alleged murder took place. Police say Lim's body was found in the study room with gunshot wounds to his head and limbs.
Six empty cartridges were also recovered.
Lim's wife, daughter and maid who were also in the flat were tied up but unharmed. Police believe the suspect knew Lim and the case looks like a deliberate attack.
They say the house was ransacked and the gunman fled with a blue denim handbag believed to contain cash and jewellery.
Neighbours described the family as quiet and reserved and they often kept to themselves.
Some say the family of the victim is well-off. The victim is believed to own two cars and more than one property other than the flat in Serangoon.
Lim has been staying at the flat for the past 20 years and his mother lives just a few units away on the same floor.
He is also a partner of the Las Vegas nightclub at Havelock Road.
Lim's daughter is believed to be a Secondary 1 student at a nearby school in the estate.
Police are providing the necessary assistance to the family members.

OUR VERY OWN CHOCOLATE FONDUE!!!many many thanks to bernard for making effort to search on the web for the recipe, and those who went shopping for all the ingredients & etc..
frankly speaking, i thought this mission would fail!
all that i could think of when serene popped out with the idea of making our own fondue was burnt chocolate?! =X
however, they proved me wrong!
they had a fun time preparing the fondue while i had a great time eating them!
its so yummy-licious.
sorry for the bad hospitality @ my place, hope you guys did enjoy yourselves!
i want more gatherings during the holiday!!!

i thought i was going to die last night.
it was the first time in my life that i felt so helpless.
a long night struggling with my breathing.
at that moment, i was hoping to change a pair of lungs.
..and this morning i was late for training!
all thanks to jack who woke up late.
didnt perform during training.
i need to get well soon.
marathon is just exactly a week away.
i need a miracle healer.
had a mini gathering this afternoon at buddy's place with the team after training.
got to try her mum's curry fishhead.
yummy!!
slacked around and i thought i really enjoy gatherings like this.
we should hold more of such gatherings occasionally.

been feeling sick for the past few days..
yesterday felt like a long race to me, cos i've been panting for no reasons throughout the night.
seen a doctor this morning and was told that im down with flu, some dust and
phlegms are trapped in my lungs too.
it afterall a bad time to fall sick with marathon and important deadlines to meet next week.
i want some miracle water that will wash away all my illnesses.
now we're left with 3 projects due next week:
1) speech communication assessed final speech - tues
2) social psychology assessed tutorial, prejudice and discrimination - thurs
3) radio capsule programme - fri
and thereafter...

everything was fast!
we slacked around watching tv and chatting till consultation time.
consultation went well and was well commented by cordelia.

was talking to germaine about setting up our own businesses.
im suddenly driven by the thought of having a company that i can call my own, selling profitable stuff!
gees, shall put this thought aside and think about it again during my semester break.
