finally, the round ubin kayaking race is over.
well done to all, you guys did well.
i feel proud being part of the team. (=
its a long 22km row.
i hate being on singles.
i miss having elva sitting behind me, chatting with me.
its a lonely race.
had a bad start.
made the wrong decision of eating backwash than to squeeze my way to the front.
when it all started, i was practically at the back.
there're 290 kayaks, i couldn't differentiate who's in my category.
all i can do is to row blankly, aimlessly.
i guess i was totally worn out after the whole race.
its so much of a mental challenge for me.
unlike the normal circuits that we do in kallang where we still can gauge how much we've completed and where we stand.
i don't even know how much i've rowed and the distance left.
nevertheless, im proud of myself for completing this race. (=
came in 4th, with a little complications in between.
it sets me thinking of why some people don't even bother about the medals that they've fought for when it meant so much to others?
something to ponder on.had a wonderful photo-taking time with the team.
the bond between us is getting stronger and closer.
it feels like a big big family. (=
